Connect Robinhood to Mint

Mint is a great personal finance application, I personally use it. It works seamlessly until comes to Investing tracking or more specifically Robinhood integration.

To be honest, it’s not Minit fault actually, Robinhood blocks all third-party app for any kind of activity.

But there is one way you can Connect Robinhood to Mint.

What is Robinhood?

Robinhood was founded in 2013 by Vladimir Tenev and Baiju Bhatt. It is a financial services company whose mission is to “democratize finance for all” by offering commission-free trading on individual companies, options, and ETFs via Founds and a mobile app. In addition, the company also offers cash management accounts and cryptocurrency trading.

What is Mint?

Mint is the free money manager and financial tracker app that brings together all of your finances. From account balances and budget planners to tracking expenses and debt payments, all your money management is now in one place.

Is there any official Robinhood Mint Integration

There is no official way to integrate Mint with Robinhood because Robinhood blocks all third-party applications (including Mint) for all unauthorized activity.

There is no official information from neither Robinhood nor Mint about the updates on this integration. The only information available is on different forums, where users share their experiences trying to connect Robinhood accounts with Mint. That’s why it is not clear if Mint was working with Robinhood at all or not.

Why does Robinhood block mint?

Robinhood is concern about their user’s security and to make them even more secure they made some changes to their application these changes block tried-party apps. This policy impacted the potential of having Robinhood Mint integration.

Robinhood made this change in its security policies to protect its users. In the future, these policies toward allowing third-party logins may change, but for now, Robinhood blocks third-party interactions.

So bring a question, Is Mint secure?

Is Mint secure?

Mint is a final application, that is why a lot of users care about its security. Mint states that the security of its users is the company’s top priority.

Mint uses different security measures, such as 128-bit SSL encryption and monitoring through TRUSTe and VeriSign. Mint’s servers also protect your files with 256-bit encryption.

Of course, when using financial apps like Mint, users should be aware of the potential risks when sharing their bank account information. However, there are high standard security measures, which are specifically designed to keep your account safe.
